$EGG is an important part of the Chikn game's ecosystem, it has many uses, making it a valuable in-game commodity. Only Chikns lay $EGG.

$EGGs are produced non-stop 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. You can claim your $EGGs from your Chikn Roost whenever you want, and as often as you want. Once claimed, the $EGGs will be transferred into your private wallet.

From a technical perspective $EGG is just a cryptocurrency that exists on the Avalanche blockchain. $EGG does not have any sell taxes or restrictions like some in-game cryptocurrency tokens do. You are free to buy, sell or exchange $EGG as you wish on a decentralised exchange such as Trader Joe without any additional fees.

 

Remember that $EGG can be used within the Chikn game for feeding Roostrs, expanding FarmLand, or payment of Foraging fees. These uses are what prevents the total supply of $EGG increasing too much, thereby sustaining its price. Each time someone feeds their Roostr, expands FarmLand, or pays Foraging fees, that $EGG is burned. It is forever removed from circulation causing a reduction in the total supply.
